  • Information you voluntarily share about your health, wellbeing, or personal circumstances during sessions or in written communications.
  • Technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically by our website hosting platform (Cloudflare).

We do not collect sensitive health information without your explicit consent, and we never collect information from children under 16 without verified parental or guardian consent.

How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and schedule appointments.
  • Provide holistic counselling, reiki, and related therapy services.
  • Send service-related communications (session reminders, follow-up notes).
  • Improve our website and service delivery.
  • Comply with legal and professional obligations.

We will not use your information for direct marketing without your express consent, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information with trusted third-party service providers solely to deliver our services:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting and security (USA; governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum).
  • SMTP2GO Pty Ltd — transactional email delivery (Australia/USA; your contact form data is transmitted to send your message and is not stored by SMTP2GO beyond delivery).
  • Video conferencing platform — for online sessions (provider disclosed at time of booking).

We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, or professional regulatory obligation, or where there is an immediate risk of harm to you or others.

Data Storage and Security

Your information is stored on Cloudflare's global network infrastructure and on password-protected, encrypted devices. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect against unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

Retention

We retain client session notes and records for a minimum of 7 years from the date of the last contact, in accordance with professional standards. Contact form enquiries that do not proceed to a therapeutic relationship are retained for 12 months, then securely deleted.

Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses Cloudflare's analytics beacon to understand aggregate traffic patterns. This does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You may disable JavaScript in your browser to prevent this data collection without losing access to core site content.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other advertising trackers.

Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Complain about a breach of the APPs.
